OLIVIA VAAL CRESSWELL is a native of western Canada. Olivia began her music studies at the age of eight through the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Ontario. After completing her A.R.C.T. degree in piano performance, Olivia continued her studies at Douglas College, the University of British Columbia, and later at Bob Jones University, where she received a Masters of Music. Olivia studied composition with Dwight Gustafson and Joan Pinkston, with additional workshops with Dan Forrest, Craig Courtney, and Howard Helvey. Playing for vocalists and instrumentalists, choral and congregational worship since her pre-teen years, Olivia has a deep love for church music ministry. Her heart is simply to provide quality sacred music that is an encouragement to the body of Christ. Olivia resides in Kansas City, MO with her husband, Jonathan, and their five children. There she is active as a pastor's wife and mommy, piano teacher and performer, church pianist and composer.
