There Is A Fountain

A viola solo with piano accompaniment begins in a reflective mood joined by the soloist in a plaintive statement of the melody. After a modulation the tune is presented with harmony in double stops and continues with an optional “up the octave” for more impact. This all comes to a point of repose and conclusion.
