Patterns of Praise_Bk1_Pt1_SectC

Patterns of Praise is a series of graded hymns and Bible songs for piano. This series is designed to complement standard teaching literature and to provide easy hymn arrangements accessible to very early levels of piano knowledge. Theory writing exercises and fun theory worksheets are included. Each song also has optional Bible memory verses for students to learn. I strive to produce a logical pedagogical progression by inserting original Bible verse and Bible story songs into the flow of standard hymns and children’s sacred songs. I hope you will enjoy these new songs.

Book 1 Part 1 begins on Middle C and expands outward in Middle C Position to a one octave range of G3 to G4 . Book 1 Part 1 uses basic rhythms (whole, dotted half, half, and quarter notes), basic time signatures (2/4, 3/4, 4/4), basic dynamics (f, p, mf, crescendo), tied notes, step, skip, D.C. al Fine, repeat marks, and minimal hands together.
