Silent Night

A predominantly elementary band piece, yet parts are included to challenge accelerated students at the elementary level. The simplistic piece includes an introduction, repeatable verse, and conclusion.

Certain parts (flute 2, clarinet 3, baritone) were written especially for very beginning band students.

I debated whether to include phrasing, as tonguing and tone are of primary interest, but included phrasing to use at the music educator's discretion.

This piece seemed to work well with our beginning band students up in Morgantown, West Virginia last year. It is my hope that it will be a blessing to your elementary students also.

Parts include: Score, Flute 1 and 2, Clarinets 1-3, Alto Sax (I've included octave options for more advanced players), Trumpets 1-2, Trombones, Baritone, Tuba, and percussion (bells and chimes, sleigh bells, and suspended cymbal).
