A trumpet fanfare announces the approach of the church to the throne of God in prayer, thanking Him in the same manner of our church fathers. As the congregation joins the choir to sing the final stanza, the strains of “the song that never endeth” ring out in praise to God. This anthem, the second of “Three Congregational Anthems for All Saints’ Day,” may be used throughout the year in any worship service.
