Is there Another King? from the cantata The Coming of Christ

Bass solo: Arriving in Jerusalem, the wise men seek guidance from King Herod where they might find the Messiah, the King of the Jews. Herod, fearful of his throne, demands answers and is shown the OT prophecy of where Christ is to be born. He sends the wise men on their way asking for their return feigning that he desires to worship. The discordant end portrays that deceit.
