Jesse Boyd is a French horn player and pianist living in Phoenix, Arizona. In the spring of 2023 he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in horn performance, and also completed the class and lesson requirements for a degree in piano performance.

Jesse is currently the band director at Arrowhead Christian Academy and assistant music director at Northwest Valley Baptist Church in Glendale, AZ. He is also pursuing a master's degree in horn performance at Arizona State University.

Jesse loves ministering for the Lord through music at his local church. He also loves composing and arranging and has a desire to set Psalms to music. He believes that music should be distinctly different than the musical culture of the world, and that the text of a song should be magnified through the music written to it.

Jesse studied piano under Nathan Arnold for 10 years, and Dr. Peter Davis for 2 years. At the beginning of his junior year of college he began piano studies under Mr. David Lehman.

Jesse studied French horn under Mark Frederick through his freshman year of college and then Jeanette Schlimgen through his senior year of collect. He has also studied under Mr. Steve Lawlis from time to time.

Jesse has studied composition under Mr. Nathan Arnold, Dr. Peter Davis, and Mrs. Joan Pinkston. All three have had great influence on his life and music and he is grateful for the time that he has had studying with each of them.

Jesse's desire is that his music be glorifying to the Lord and also enjoyable for the listeners and musicians playing. He believes that sacred music should be distinctly different from the world in order to obey the commands found in Romans 12 and similar passages in scripture. "Do not be conformed to this world."
