Be Thou Exalted is an arrangement of perhaps one of the last songs from Fanny J. Crosby. The gospel hymn was finished by Dr. Al Smith, who presented us with one of the greatest songs of praise. With special permission, the song was arranged by Glenn Christianson into a majestic anthem of praise. This arrangement is unique and most singable. Your choir will sing to the heavens with the closing words: “Thine Be the Glory. Amen!”
Worship Him, the spotless Lamb, and let His praises ring!
Be Thou exalted, for ever and ever,
God of eternity, The Ancient of Days!
Wondrous is Majesty, so mighty in wisdom,
Perfect in holiness and worthy of praise.
Be thou exalted by seraphs and angels,
Be thou exalted with harp and with song;
Saints in their anthems of rapture adore thee,
Thine be the glory forever, Amen!
Note: This SATB arrangement is listed here as a single publication. It is also part of the hymn-story program “She Hath Done What She Could” - The Live of Fanny J. Crosby in Story and In Song.
