Wayfarin' Stranger

The climax of this arrangement is on the words "I'm goin' there to meet my mother, she said she'd meet me when I come." This piece is dedicated to my friend Nathan Bixby whose mother passed away from cancer when he was young. He asked me to write this piece for his senior voice recital at Maranatha Baptist University. For this reason, the entire piece climaxes on this phrase, reflecting Nathan's anticipation on seeing his dear mother again when he reaches Heaven!
